Gary M. DeRigne, M.B.A.

Gary is a Storyteller; a novelist and speaker, and a staunch advocate for America's veterans.

A combat veteran of Vietnam, Gary served as a rifleman and platoon sergeant with the 1st Cavalry Division.  In 2007, still haunted by his wartime experiences, he published One Young Soldier, a novel now well recognized for its compelling portrayal of the life of a soldier at war.

Recently retired from his business career, Gary has become a Storyteller, and takes every opportunity to speak to business groups, school classes, churches, social groups, and anyone else who will listen, as an advocate for America's disabled, homeless, and otherwise disadvantaged veterans.   He's also finishing his second novel, a sequel to One Young Soldier tentatively titled  Aftermath.   Through his speaking and book sales he financially supports The Wounded Warrior Project and The Mid-America Stand Down Foundation, both excellent organizations that directly help disadvantaged veterans.  He is a life member of both the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
